Telling Their Stories will present a free afternoon program open to the public on Saturday August 21, 2010 at the Ogden Museum in New Orleans.

Renowned author and historian Douglas Brinkley will be the featured speaker of our program.
In Our Backyard
A panel discussion featuring photojournalists from along the gulf coast discussing the challenges presented when covering a storm that occurs where they live.
Five Years Later
Times-Picayune photojournalist take us along on their five year journey of documenting Hurricane Katrina and the city’s recovery process since the storm.
The Soul of New Orleans Workshop
On Friday twenty New Orleans students will spend the day working hand-in-hand with some of the photojournalists that told the stories of Hurricane Katrina’s devastation on their own mini-projects. On Saturday they will share their experiences and present the photographs their work.
